The opening ceremonies of the 2018 Winter Olympic games in South Korea will officially open Friday with the Opening Ceremonies in Pyeongchang. However, some skating events are ready to begin Thursday February 8th. Pyeonchang is actual a half a day ahead of Boise time so like the games in Sochi, Russia some events will take place as we sleep. 630 The Fan will have daily Olympic Updates airing three times per day throughout the Olympics.
