Bogus Basin Ready to Open

How about 28 inches of new snow? That's what mother nature dumped on Bogus Basin and that means the front side will be open for skiing Thursday! By Saturday the backside will open as well.

Not only has mother nature provided the real stuff, Bogus Basin has pumped nearly two million gallons of water through it's new snow making machines which continue to add to the base on the front side.

If you are not familiar with man-made snow, it's a little icier than the real stuff but makes for a great base and can really help to cover those hard to cover spots.

Because only the front side will be open on Thursday lift tickets will be reduced accordingly

Cold temperatures and for the most part clear to partly cloudy skies will make for ideal snow making and there's more snow in the forecast for next week.
