Back in 2009, Boise's food scene was put on the map when Travel Channel's Man v. Food hit our city's streets. Featured on the episode were local favorites - Rockies Diner, Big Juds, and Flying Pie Pizzeria. 8 years later, Man v. Food is back and filming again at 3 new Boise locations!

Last week host Casey Webb and the Man v. Food crew hit up Boise's Edge Brewing, Westside Drive-In, and Superb Sushi to film for their new season. Here's a little insight into these foodie hotspots:

Edge Brewing: Famous for traditional brews "with an edge", this Boise brewery and restaurant is also known for their Wing Challenge - consuming 10 wings covered in their homemade death sauce. Beat a top 10 time and your wings are on the house plus you get a free beer.

Westside Drive-In: This Boise diner is no stranger to the spotlight. Previously featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Westside is home to the famous Idaho Ice Cream Potato.

Superb Sushi: Claiming to be Boise's most unique sushi joint, Superb is home to not one, but THREE foodie challenges - The Demon's Delight, The Death Roll, and The La Bomba Roll. Rules vary, but all winners receive their meal for free, a photo on the wall of fame, and a Superb Sushi t-shirt.

Though the date of the Boise episode has not yet been released, keep your eyes peeled - the new season of Man v. Food airs on December 4th at 9/8C on the Travel Channel.
