The fact is, Boise State will take it's 6-0 league record to Logan, Utah Saturday night to face a 5-1 Utah State team with the Mountain West division title on the line.

The fact is, Boise State's starting lineup for the game is anything but certain because of injuries.

Lets start at quarterback where Jaylon Henderson has taken on the starters role because of injuries to Hank Bachmeier and Chase Cord. Henderson was 15 of 28 passing for 292 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Broncos 42-9 win over New Mexico as he took full advantage of the spotlight.

Henderson took every snap against the Lobos because even when the game was in hand, head coach Bryan Harson really had no other quarterback to turn too and that could well be the case Saturday in Logan.

Is Henderson good enough to beat Utah State in Logan? Given the way he performed against New Mexico the answer is a resounding yes.

However, two starting offensive lineman, John Molchon and Eric Quevedo both left last Saturday's game with injuries.

Defensively, the Bronco's leader, Curtis Weaver also left the game with an injury and was later seen on the sideline in a walking boot.

Head coach Bryan Harsin always says it's about the next man being ready to step up but there are few players like Weaver to take his place.

So many uncertainties right now with the Broncos and maybe that is why they slipped a spot in the AP poll from 19 to 20. BSU stayed 19th in the coaches poll.

Through all of this Boise State has marched to a 9-1 season record and with a win Saturday in Logan would clinch a spot in the Mountain West title game December 7th. The injuries have made it interesting but when players like Henderson step up the way he did Saturday it makes you believe somehow Boise State will find a way to win.

Meantime, Bachmeier has missed two games in a row and has been sideline for three of the last four weeks. Harsin has said Bachmeier's injuries are not season ending so with two games to play, maybe three, Bachmeier should be close to play time.

If not Henderson is ready, willing, capable and anxious to but an exclamation point on his college career.
