The Boise State softball team has extended it's winning streak to 13 in a row following a 3-0 win over Long Beach State Sunday in San Diego.

The Broncos are 14-2, the best start in program history. Sundays game against Long Beach was pretty much a pitchers duel.

Boise State didn't get it's first hit until the third inning when Rebekah Cervantes stroked a solo homer to make it 1-0 BSU and as it turned out that was all the runs Boise State would need.

Bronco pitcher Gianna Mancha tossed six inning of shutout ball allowing just three hits.

Boise State will head back to California for a trio of games Friday and Saturday in Stockton as part of the Louisville Slugger Tournament.
