Boise State’s Raimee Sherle Earns National Honor

Boise State junior soccer scoring sensation Raimee Sherle has been named the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's National Player of the Week.

This is the second such honor for Sherle who earned the same recognition last season (Oct. 24, 2017). She is the first Bronco player to earn the honor twice over the course of a career.

Sherle paced BSU to wins over Colorado State and Wyoming propelling the Broncos to 4-0 in Mountain West play – the first perfect four-game start to a conference season in program history. The 10-2 overall record is also the best 12-game start to a season in program history.

Sherle is the No. 1 goal scorer in the NCAA for the second-straight week with 16 goals. She has 41 career goals tying the Mountain West record.

Sherle has 10 multi-goal games and 21 game-winning goals over the course of her career (both of which are program records), the forward now has scored 28 goals over the course of her last 20 games dating back to last season.

The Broncos will be on the road this weekend with games at New Mexico (Friday, Oct. 5) and San Diego State (Sunday, Oct. 7).
