The College of Idaho football team is ranked 9th in the latest NAIA polls but they aren't the only Coyote Athletes getting national attention.

For the first time in program history both the men and women's College of Idaho cross country teams are ranked in the Top-3 in the latest NAIA Cross Country Top-25 coaches’ polls.

The Coyote men jumped from 5th to No. 2, their highest ranking in program history surpassing their No. 3 mark during the final poll of the 2018 regular-season.

The C of I men earned 564 points and three first-place votes among the 21 conference rater and trail only defending NAIA champion, Oklahoma City.

The C of I women climbed one spot to No. 3 with 542 points. It marks the highest rating since the 2013 season when the Yotes spent the entirety of the year ranked at No. 2.

Two Cascade Conference teams (No. 6 Southern Oregon, No. 18 Eastern Oregon) join the Coyote men in the poll, while two CCC teams (No. 9 Oregon Tech, No. 11 Southern Oregon) are ranked in the women’s poll.

The college of Idaho runners are idle until October 19th when they compete in the Warner Pacific Open in Portland
