The match-up is set for the first ever American West Football Conference Championship game July 28th at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.

The Idaho Horsemen, 12-0 will host the Reno Express 7-6. Reno earned the right to play Idaho beating the Wenatchee Skyhawks 28-27 in the first ever AWFC playoff game.

The Express and Skyhawks both finished the regular season 6-6 forcing a playoff game to determine a foe for the Idaho Horsemen.

Wenatchee had three field goal attempts in the final 10 seconds to beat Reno but penalties nixed the first two attempts and the third attempt was wide.

Kickoff for the championship game Sunday July 28th is set for 3:30 p.m.
