The Idaho Steelheads have signed another key player from last years playoff team. Forward Kyle Schempp who played in 70 games for Idaho joins captain A.J. White and defenseman Jeff King as players from last years roster now inked for the coming season.

Schempp scored 16 goals and had 25 assists for a total of 41 points. Schempp who really picked up his game towards the end of last season says he is looking forward to improving and claims the Steelheads have some unfinished business after being knocked out of the Kelly Cup Playoffs in the second round.

Schempp was a 6th round draft pick by the NY Islanders in 2014 who played his college hockey at Ferris State.
