Idaho's Brayon Blake, just coming off action at the NBA Sumer League, is set to bring his skills overseas, to Löwen Braunschweig in the German Basketball Bundesliga.

Blake averaged 3.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per game for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.  His playing time was limited, but Blake feels he has proven his ability to compete with the best of the best.  The Cavs take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at 6:30 p.m. MDT in semifinal action.

Blake was exceptional for the Vandals during his senior season, earning First Team All-Big Sky honors after posting 17 points and nearly 10 boards per game.  He really rounded out his game as a senior, improving his 3-point shooting to post the fifth best single-season average in team history.

Braunschweig finished 12th in the Bundesliga last season at 14-20.  The team has featured a number of former and future NBA players, including Dennis Schöoder (Atlanta Hawks), Daniel Theis (Boston Celtics) and Chris Herren (Denver Nuggets/Boston Celtics).  The remainder of the roster will be announced in the coming weeks.
