Former Boise State running back Jay Ajayi remains a free agent as I write this post but there is talk the Dallas Cowboys, who seem to like Boise State players, may have a need for his services.

The Cowboys drafted running back Mike Weber from Ohio State to be a backup to Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard but Weber injured his knee in a mini camp and there's some discussion surgery may be necessary.

Since Ajayi is a free agent and because the Cowboys love BSU players and with Kellen Moore the Cowboys offensive coordinator it's obvious why there is discussion Dallas may look to sign Ajayi who has 2,516 career rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns with Philadelphia and Miami.

The only question with Ajayi is his past issue with injuries but with as many Bronco allies he'd have in Dallas the Cowboys might just take a chance.

it's all just talk right now but whether it's Dallas or another team the talk is Ajayi could be signed by the end of the week.
