The Dallas Cowboys made it official today announcing Kellen Moore as their new offensive coordinator.

The former Boise State quarterback replaces Scott Linehan, who ironically played quarterback at Idaho. Moore is just 29 years old and only in his second full year of coaching in the NFL

The move had been widely rumored for two weeks but now it is official.

Former Dallas player Jon Kitna, who has spent the last six years as a high school football coach replaces Moore as the Cowboys QB coach.

One of the first to talk about the move was Doug Gottlieb during his afternoon show on Sports Radio 630 The Fan. Gottlieb said he thought this is a great move and that Moore understands the criticism of the Dallas offense that it was too predictable and expects the former Bronco to bring some of that refreshing Boise State attitude to the Cowboy offense.
