Anymore you can't tell the football coaches in the Mountain West without a roster and the changes just keep coming.

Nick Rolovich, the Mountain West football coach of the year, is the latest to make a change by leaving Hawaii to become the new head coach at Washington State.

He replaces Mike Leach who despite just signing a new contract extension in Pullman decided to bolt for Mississippi State.

Rolovich, 28-27 in four years at Hawaii has agreed to a five year deal worth 3 million a season. The Rainbow Warriors were 10-5 this past season and ranked 13th in the country in total offense 471 yards per game with their run and shoot offense.

It seems to be an interesting hire for the Cougars. Despite Hawaii beating BYU 38-34 in the Hawaii Bowl they lost twice to Boise State in 2019 and neither game was close including a 31-10 loss to the Broncos in the Mountain West championship game.

Rolovich is the second Mountain West football coach to make a move in the past week. Rocky Long retired after nine seasons at San Diego State and since the end of the season, Mike Bobo was fired at Colorado State, Tony Sanchez dismissed at UNLV, Bob Davie released at New Mexico and Jeff Tedford stepped down for health reasons at Fresno State.
