High school baseball teams are gearing up for a BIG week, as 33 teams from the Valley and region converge for the 2018 Buck's Athletics Spring Classic Baseball Tournament. A total of 65 games at six locations will be played before all is said and done and unlike Sunday, mother nature has laid out the red carpet with daytime temperatures expected right around 60 degrees.

Games will start Thursday at Boise, Borah, Capital, Eagle, Nampa, Skyview and Vallivue High schools and continue through Saturday with a trio of games set for first pitch at 3 p.m. The traditional Bucks Bags Spring Classic is a round-robin event with each team playing three games.

Game times are 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and then 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The Corvallis high school baseball team is making the longest trek to the spring classic with Blackfoot, Highland, Madison, Century and Pocatello from East Idaho.....Minico,Twin Falls and Burley from the South Central region and a ton of Treasure Valley schools from Parma to Boise, Vallivue to Mountain Home!

Thursday's first round of games will feature Borah vs. Lakeland at Borah High, Bishop Kelly vs. Parma at Vallivue High and Timberline vs. Twin Falls at Skyview High, all three games at 10:30 a.m.
