Boise State running back Robert Mahone has been named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Honorable Mention list following his performance at Florida State.

Mahone was the workhorse for the offense in BSU's  36-31 win over Florida State. Mahone rushed  for 142 yards on 24 carries and a pair of touchdowns, including the game-winner in the fourth quarter as the Broncos overcame an 18-point deficit.

The carries, yardage, and touchdowns were all career highs for Mahone, who averaged 5.9 yards per attempt.

It was his first 100-yard rushing game, and marked the fifth-straight contest in which a Bronco back had bested 100 yards in a game.

No. 24 Boise State (1-0) hosts Marshall (1-0) Friday in the 2019 home opener. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MT on ESPN2.
