Not often does a college football season start so poorly and end with such excitement as is the case for the College of Idaho Coyote football team.

The Yotes were 0-5 at the end of September and with six games to play, most opf them against ranked opponents, lessor teams might have thrown in the towel but the Yotes decided they'd be the little NAIA engine that could and now they are 5-5 on the year!

Saturday the College of Idaho dispatched their fourth straight ranked opponent beating 20th ranked Western Montana on the road in Dillon 17-14.

The Coyotes stretching their win streak to 5 in a row and they have a chance to end the season with a 6 game win streak when they play at Montana State Northern Saturday at noon.

This has been a special stretch indeed for the Coyotes who sealed Saturdays win by converting a 4th down and 2 to run out the clock and extend the magic another week.
