San Diego State is once again ranked number 7 in this weeks AP College basketball poll. The Aztecs are 17-0 and along with 15-0 Auburn are the only unbeaten teams in the top 10.

San Diego State jumped early on Boise State over the weekend en route to an 83-65 win, a game in which the only solace for the Broncos was the fact they outscored San Diego State 40-35 in the second half.

The win gives the Aztecs a 6-0 league record and as much as they'd like to run away from the rest of the league and hide, UNLV and New Mexico are hanging tough each with 4-1 conference records.

Nevada is 3-2 while Utah State and Boise State are 3-3.

Overall the Mountain West has six of eleven teams with double figure wins. San Diego State at 17-0 the most impressive but New Mexico is no slouch at 15-3, Utah State, despite some surprise conference losses is 14-5, Boise State and Colorado State are both 11-7 and Nevada is 10-7.

That's a winning conference indeed but they have one problem. No one seems to be able to handle San Diego State.

On the bright side, if San Diego State continues to roll, they'll be ranked so high come tournament time the NCAA might just be looking at two Mountain West schools to qualify for big the dance.
