The Tulsa Oilers had to deal with a lot of fish this ECHL Kelly Cup Playoff season. First there was the Idaho Steelheads in the quarter finals. Tulsa was able to net Idaho in 6 games but the Walleye of Toledo would prove to put up a bigger fight.

Toledo, looking for it's first ever spot in the Kelly Cup Finals achieved their goal with an impressive 6-2 win Wednesday night in Tulsa where the Oilers rarely lose.

The Walleye jumped to a 2-0 lead and never let Tulsa into the game as they won the Western Conference Final and the right to play Newfoundland in the Kelly Cup Final.

The Growlers earned their final spot beating the Florida Everblades 4 games to 1.
