The U-15 Boise Thorns Girls soccer team beat Las Vegas 3-2 today to win their Group and advance to the semi finals of the national Youth Soccer Tournament in Loveland Park, Kansas.

The Thorns finished with 2-0-1 record to top the Group A standings.

Avery McBride scored a pair of goals for Boise at 8 minutes and 18 minutes in a game that was tied 2-2 at the half.

The lone goal of the second half was scored by Hayden Wilsey in the 67th minute. The 3-2 win sends the Thorns into Saturday's semi finals as the top team from Group A and they'll face the second place finisher from Group B, the FC Revolution from Pennsylvania.

Las Vegas also advances to the semi-finals against the Group B winner from Wisconsin that went 3-0 earning the maximum 9 points in group play.

Saturdays semi final games will start at 6 A.M. Boise time and the winners will play for the U-15 National crown Sunday at 9:30 A.M. Boise time.
