Vander Esch Stumps For First Round NFL Pick

Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch gets his chance to wow the NFL this weekend at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.

Vander Esch who opted to forgo his senior season at Boise State is starting to make everyone's radar!

Vander Esch will be lifting weights Saturday and then he'll be on the field Sunday and the word is, if he can run at least a 4.65 forty yard dash Vander Esch will be first round draft material.

It sounds so clinical but it's all about the numbers in the NFL because if they could measure heart and desire, Vander Esch would be off the chart.

Mock NFL drafts have Vander Esch going as high as the 14th overall player. Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated calls Vander Esch one of 10 freaks set to turn heads.

If Vander Esch does go in the first round of the NFL draft come April he'd become the 5th Bronco first rounder..
