The top ranked Rocky Mountain Grizzlies just continued to roll over the weekend with impressive wins against Eagle and Meridian. Meridian, with an 11-1 record, was considered a challenge to the Grizzlies but in the end the Warriors limped away losing 76-52. Rocky showing no weakness.

Another team to register a perfect weekend was the Boise Brave. Boise upset second ranked Borah Friday 52-42 and then held off Mountain View Saturday 53-52.

Timberline also went 2-0 beating Centennial 39-27 and Capital 50-45. Can Timberline make it three in a row when they play at Eagle Thursday night? You can find out with us as Timberline @ Eagle will be the McDonald's game of the week Thursday, 7:30pm tip off on 105.5fm The fan.

Borah ranked no.2 rebounded to beat Capital 60-45 Saturday after losing to Boise Friday.

The big story in girls basketball over the weekend was Mountain Views 48-46 win over top ranked Timberline. Both teams now have identical 14-2 records overall 12-2 in SIC play.

Timberline had won 11 straight games before Saturdays loss. In fact, both of Timberlines defeats have come from Mountain View. The Mavericks won earlier this year 70-52 but then lost to Boise and that opened the door for Timberline to take over the top spot until Saturday.

Trinity Slocum led Mountain View with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Trinity is the sister of Destiny now a junior at Oregon State.

Just for the record, Timberline may have a small mental block when it comes to Mountain View. T-Line has lost 16 straight games to the Mavericks since 2012.
